You are invited to pray for Pope Francis' safety during his first visit Africa: Kenya, Uganda and Central African Republic. Despite continued instability and outbreaks of violence in the Central African Republic, the Vatican announced Pope Francis will spend about 33 hours in the country during a Nov. 25-30 visit to Africa. Kenya is the first stop. The highlight of his apostolic visit is his meeting with Ecumenical and Inter-religious Leaders. Then, Pope Francis will go to Uganda. He will honor the memory of the 23 Anglican and 22 Catholic Ugandan Martyrs. His last stop will be Central African Republic. He will preside the Sunday Mass with the Rite to Open the Jubilee of Mercy.
