The tradition of the Church sets aside the entire month of November reminding us to remember and pray for all who have gone before us. This is an opportunity for the faithful to live deeply the "communion of Saints."

On the first day of November, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. This is a joyful feast because we celebrate the models of holiness on our journey home. It is a blessing to know that there are uncountable Holy Men and Holy Women who are accompanying us in our pilgrimage toward heaven.

The second day of November is All Souls Day. This is a wonderful reminder for us who are still on the journey home that we carry in ourselves the weakness and sins. We are called to pray for all Souls who need our prayers and sacrifices on their behalf before God.

As a member of God's family through Baptism, each of us is invited to live deeply the reality of this Spiritual Family where we share the joy of the Saints and the spiritual solidarity in prayer for all Souls. In prayer, especially in the Eucharistic Celebration, all Saints, all souls and we meet. This is the month of Christian hope. We hope that through God's grace and mercy, we can share the fullness of life in God's presence for ever.

Saint Anne Shrine invite you to send the names of your deceased relatives and friends, so that we may include them in our Mass and prayer each day. Please click here to download the form.
